What can I do with a failed enchant?

You have three choices: Repair, Reduce or Sell.
If it is rank 3 or higher, it might be worth getting the cubes out of it by combining it with a Reducing Tool Kit and a Reducing Cube of the appropriate rank.
You will get half of the cubes back. If you really want the item back, then you could combine it with an E-Repair (expensive) Otherwise just sell it to an NPC.
